**UPDATED 14TH AUGUST 2020**
After the govenments announcement (13/08/2020) we have a couple of updates to share with you.
To keep us all safe you will be required to wear a face covering (if you can do so), in the following areas of the club:
*On entering the Club
*In our Changing Rooms
*In our Spa Cafe when you are waiting to be taken through for your treatments
*In our Relaxation Lounge
*When you have either a Manicure or Pedicure
Please also note that we are still unable to reopen our Sauna & Stream Rooms
The newly uplifted Gainsborough Health Club & Spa are extremely pleased to now be fully open to our Members and Day Spa guests.
As part of being open we will of course be following all necessary guidelines to ensure the continued safety of you our members and our team. This means you can confidently return safe in the knowledge that all guidance is being followed, it is still us but with a few temporary changes.
We want to ensure that we personally take each of you through these changes, therefore on your first return visit, a member of our team will give you a brief induction and overview of the measures and processes that we have put in place.
Examples of changes can you expect to see?
Feeling Unwell – In order to protect our customers and Team, if you are feeling unwell and or are displaying any of the Covid-19 recognised symptoms, please DO NOT attend the club, please follow the Government and NHS Guidelines which can be found Here.
Day Spa Guests – All day Spa guests will be required to register and fill out their personal details including a medical questionnaire 24 hours before arrival. The link will be in your Spa Day confirmation.
Opening Hours – In order to allow our team additional time to complete enhanced deep cleaning, we are temporarily changing our operating times
Spa’s operating times:
Monday & Tuesday 10am – 5pm
Wednesday & Thursday - closed
Friday 10am – 8pm
Saturday & Sundays 9am -6pm
Please note: All of our team have completed Covid 19 hygiene course, so they have the confidence and knowledge of best hygiene practises.
Access to Changing Rooms – Due to social distancing measures we will need to restrict access to our changing and shower facilities, therefore only those customers wishing to to use the Poolside facilities will be permitted. Whilst we appreciate this is not ideal we hope you appreciate the reasons and restrictions behind this.
The Gym – Due to social distancing measures we have had to move around and remove just two items of equipment to ensure compliance with the guidelines set by government, in addition to this we also reserve the right to regulate the number of people allowed into the Gym at anyone time. We are not currently planning to introduce a booking system for the Gym as utilisation is relatively staggered throughout the day, however, should this become a problem a system may need to be introduced.
Poolside – Due to social distancing measures we are having to restrict the number of people in both the Swimming pool and Jacuzzi. At this time, the government will not allow us to reopen the sauna or steam room, as soon as they announce we will.
As per the Gym we also reserve the right to regulate the number of people allowed into the Pool at any one time. Again, we are not currently planning to introduce a booking system for the pool due to utilisation being relatively staggered, however should this become a problem a system may need to be introduced.
Children’s Swimming – Due to the guidance and restrictions in place we are suspending Children’s swimming times
Spa Treatments – Due to social distancing & Health and Safety measures our staff will need to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing treatments.
