Mosaic Spa and Health Clubs is one of the leading Health and Fitness and Spa management providers, specialising in the management of spa and leisure clubs. We pride ourselves on providing a friendly and fun environment for our members and guests  

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Spa and Health Club Manager to grow the business and lead the team at The Gainsborough Club at Houghton Hall near Cavendish, Sudbury, Suffolk.

This position would suit a strong team leader with a proven track record in managing spa or health club facilities.

This role involves overall responsibility for the day to day operation of spa and health club, therefore applicants should have a sound understanding of the key areas of responsibility including financial performance, sales and marketing, and health and safety.  In order to meet our high operating standards and levels of customer service, applicants should be able to create a friendly and fun environment for all guests and staff, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate an ability to build relationships easily at all levels.  The successful candidate must be highly organised, be able to remain calm under pressure and think logically in the fast-paced environment of a busy health club and day spa.   

It is essential for the successful candidate to have previous experience of leading and motivating a team, as you will be responsible for the day to day management and development of the teams of spa therapists and leisure professionals, as well as recruitment and training.

This is an exciting opportunity that would be ideally suited to candidates with a spa or beauty therapy background, looking for a new challenge and career progression who would thrive on applying their experience into managing a health and fitness club; or alternatively an experienced health club manager with an excellent grasp of marketing principles to help take the spa business forwards.

It is vital that all applicants are strong swimmers as a swimming assessment will be undertaken as part of the selection process.  The ideal candidate would hold current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard and Gym Instructor Qualifications, and the possession of Pool Plant Operator and First Aid at Work Certificates would be a distinct advantage, however these are not essential, as full training and access to the necessary qualifications is available for the right candidate.
